General Catch-up Guidelines:

• The minimum intervals between injectable live attenuated vaccines is 4 weeks (if not given at same session).
• A 4 week interval between live attenuated vaccines not required if route of administration is different (Inj – Oral).
• BCG is given at 6-12 months of age without PPD test. After 12 months of age BCG is given according to NTBCP guidelines with PPD test.
• TdaP/Td is given instead of DTaP for children >7 years.
• Hib vaccine is given only one dose for children 1-5 years, and no need for children >5 years.
• 2nd dose of Varicella is given 3 months for children < 13 years, and after 4 weeks for children >13 years.
• 2nd dose of PCV13 is given after 8 weeks if the first dose was given at 1 year. No need for 2nd dose if 1st dose was given after 24 months. No dose is given for children older than 5 years.
• 2nd dose of Meningococcal conjugate vaccine is given after 3 months for children < 2 years. If older than 2 years, only a single dose is needed.
• No need for second booster of DTaP if the 1st booster was given at age >4 years.
